This Privacy Policy explains how CoolFitness handles information for the iOS and Android apps and related services.
Health and Fitness Data
With your permission, CoolFitness may access, import or store health and fitness information such as workouts, exercises, steps, height, weight, body composition, sleep, recovery, heart rate, heart rate variability, nutrition, mood, energy, goals, intermittent fasting records, wearable data, bloodwork values, medical document metadata and manually entered notes.
Access to platform health data such as Apple HealthKit or Android Health Connect is optional and controlled by the permission settings on your device. You can revoke those permissions at any time in the operating system or app settings.
Your display name is entered manually. CoolFitness does not rely on Apple Health, Android Health Connect, iCloud or Android system account names for your profile name.
How Data Is Used
CoolFitness uses data to provide app features such as timeline views, goal tracking, trend summaries, fitness and recovery insights, exports, sharing controls and optional AI-assisted assessments.
AI-assisted features, when enabled, are used to summarize and explain patterns in your selected data. AI output is informational only and is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or a substitute for a qualified healthcare professional.
AI context should stay separated from identity and billing data except where limited account, consent or entitlement information is necessary to operate the app. Medical document extraction must use data minimization, provenance, validation and user review before extracted values are treated as confirmed records.
Local Storage and Backend Processing
The app may store preferences, cached app data and selected health records locally on your device to make the app faster and useful offline. Sensitive local data should be protected using platform security features where available.
CoolFitness does not use ordinary iCloud Backup or Google device backup as the primary backup mechanism for sensitive health data. App-managed sensitive records, provider tokens, medical document data and private journal content should be encrypted and excluded from ordinary device backups where platform controls allow it.
CoolFitness backend services may process account, consent, health, timeline, assessment, export, sharing, subscription, notification, audit and technical service data as needed to deliver the app.
When you enable backend sync or use a feature that requires backend processing, synced CoolFitness records may be protected through encrypted off-server backups. Local-only data may be lost if you delete the app or change devices unless an export or sync feature is available and enabled.
The current iOS build uses local app storage for early product validation. Backend sync, document storage and broader provider integrations are planned behind explicit consent, security, audit and deletion controls.
Data Sharing
CoolFitness does not sell personal health data. Data may be shared only when required to operate the service, when you explicitly request an export or sharing flow, when a provider is needed for a feature, or when required by law.
Future integrations may include services such as Apple HealthKit, Android Health Connect, wearable providers, payment providers, cloud hosting providers, analytics providers, notification providers and AI providers. Provider use must be limited to the feature being delivered and the consent you have granted.
Consent and Control
You should be able to control connected providers, health permissions, AI processing, exports, sharing grants and account deletion from the app where those features are available.

Security
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect information processed by CoolFitness. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but CoolFitness is designed around privacy, consent, encryption and auditability.
Children's Privacy
CoolFitness is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The most recent version will be made available on this website.
